This is a revolutionary map application for Symbian mobile phones. Using the familiar London A-Z maps in all their detail and reliability, it looks just like the paper book. It is very easy to use, and very fast. In fact, this could be the fastest raster map application ever created for a Symbian smartphone.
The application does not need a wireless connection. No connection charges, no monthly charges. Use it as often as you like.
The maps are stored on the memory card of your phone. Memory card technology has dramatically changed thanks to digital cameras. Large demand has turned memory cards into inexpensive everyday storage, which is reliable and fast. This is part of the reason why A-Z London Street Map application is so fast. The other reason is the unique map technology developed by Lumisoft Ltd.
Is this another navigation application? No, it''s not. Navigation software tells you where to turn based on an (expensive) GPS. This application is more than that as far as the maps are concerned: you can see very detailed maps. You can find any street extremely quickly. This application does not tell you where you are. It does not tell you how to go from one place to another. There''s plenty of those around. This application is ideal when - for example - you are in the tube and wish to see the destination where you are traveling to.
No need to print a map from the internet any more! This application works fine on the tube, because it does not need a signal, and it does not need a GPS connection either! It does not even need a GPS device.
