Immerse yourself!

This game is a great game to have if you've never played it (like me.) Unlike other ppc games that get old FAST, myst has you captivated until you finish (and it's not a short game.) Plus it completely immerses you and the puzzles are entertaining and challenging. Like the other reviewer said, it's a refreshing difference from other ppc games. The missing star is for the price tag (a bit high), the size (a whole 32mb memory card), the gameplay (some things are hard to manipulate in the game), and the fit of the screen (portrait is too narrow and landscape is too pixelated.)

Palm 700w screen too small for game

This game was pretty good when it came for the PC, but a PC has a much larger screen. This game wasn't designed for a 2"x2" screen. I played Myst when if first came out so I am familiar with the game but I can't play it on my Palm.

Excellent Challenge, Great Graphics

I am new to the PPC world and just picked up an ASUS A716. Looking for something more than chess, bingo, and blackjack, I came across Myst as one of the best sellers on this site. From the demo alone I knew this wasn't your typical game, and for 25 bucks, it's a steal.
If you're not already familiar with the game, it's an adventure/puzzle game with graphics, sound and music that quite simply put, is unbelievable. Didn't think I could become absorbed in a game on a PPC, but now I know better as I find that the portability of a REAL Desktop game is the way to go. Playing Myst while having my oil changed? Whoda thunk?
And this thing is HUGE! There are five worlds, each different in their own respect with a storyline that sucks you in from the moment you step onto the first island. This is a must have.
