Share, simlulate and log the GPS
Share - GpsGate lets you share one GPS between several applications.
GpsGate can create any number of virtual serial ports which most NMEA enabled GPS
applications can connect to.
Simulator - Define a set of waypoints and GpsGate will simulate a GPS travelling between
those waypoints.
Logger - Log and playback real time GPS data. Save real time scenarios to be used
for analysis, demonstration or development back in the office.

Get fast GPS on AT&T Fuze/Touch Pro

I have a Fuze, which is the HTC Touch Pro, and it has built-in GPS but it takes a good 5-10 minutes for the GPS to find satellites and give you a position on Navigation software like iGuidance, which is what I have. After I installed this I got a GPS fix within a couple of minutes. Handango will give you an error message that this software is not compatible with this device - that is not correct, installs easily and works without any problems. If you use iGuidance software with this phone, a piece of advice I picked up from the iNav site - disconnect your internet data connection if you want your iGuidance to load immediately, if you try to load the iGuidance software while your internet connection is running it will take 5-7 minutes for the software to load. You can reconnect to the internet data connection with no problem after the software is loaded. By the way, GPS Gate was recommended by the iNav site as a workaround for the GPS connection problem with iGuidance.

WOW!!! Inexpensive Dual Station (Pilot AND Co-pilot) Moving Map Glass Cockpit system for the aircraft!! Want more?? How about the passengers,
too!!
I'm running a pair of iPaq 4700 PDAs horizontally mounted on the yokes (with or without the power cables), and have also set up an iPaq 2215 as a third for the passengers to follow along on. I'm using a single Bluetooth GPS for the position data.
All three PDAs are running Memory-Map Pocket Navigator, with inexpensive current digitized aviation sectional charts, but could very well be running different programs on each.
GPSGate v2 has made all this possible, using the GPS sharing capabilities of the Bluetooth Server, under only one GPSGate license. The other units link automatically to the BTServer over the Bluetooth Port when the map software is started (after initial setup). Nothing could have been easier.
The same setup can be used for dual stations on the Boat, with Free NOAA Charts. Many more possibilities!

How do I get GpsGate to work with TomTom Navigator and a Bluetooth GPS?
Two optionas are available, one for advanced users, and one for normal users. First for normal users:
I forgot the following
If TomTom Navigator is installed it blocks any BlueTooth GPS even after a soft reset. This means you normally cannot use any other GPS application while TomTom is installed. GpsGate solves this problem. Follow these steps to make it possible to run any number of GPS applications even when TomTom is installed
Note Use the beta version 1.1 for Tom Tom 3 Downloadable at the developers site (license key the same as the version 1 as shown above)
